Book Review: Always Enough, Never Too Much by Jess Connolly and Hayley Morgan
Subscribe in iTunes Listen in Stitcher. In this episode, Kristin sits down with bestselling authors and entrepreneurs, Jess Connolly and Hayley Morgan , to talk about their new devotional Always Enough, Never Too Much and how we can stop struggling with comparison and hiding our flaws, and how to live more authentically. Show Sponsor: Shipt: Grocery Delivery. Narrator: Desperate for a way to slow down and connect, Kristin Schell put an ordinary picnic table in her front yard and painted it turquoise. That first turquoise table became a meeting place for friends and neighbors, a place to connect, and a symbol of hospitality. As you know, one of the major themes at the Turquoise Table is connection and community. Today we welcome Jess Connolly and Hayley Morgan.
I was recently given the opportunity to review it, so here we go! This devotional is one of a kind in several ways, not the the least of which being the fact that it is a flip book! Because writers Jess and Hayley are tackling two overarching main messages — that we are both always enough and never too much for God, you begin the book on one side and read 50 devotions on the topic of always being enough for the Lord. Then you turn it over, flip it upside down, and read 50 devotions on the truth that we are never too much for God. I love how clever this design is! The real treasure, though, is of course the truth, wisdom, and encouragement to be found within the pages of the devotions themselves.
Sounds like a book that I definitely need to get and read. Great review Mary, thanks! The books that you can't find the words for are the books that I want to read the most. Thanks Mary. I love your review of this book, You really did gain insight from it. I think I will add this one to my list. It's time for a new womens Bible study, this just might be the perfect one.

There are 7. And I get it. The constant need to juggle a career, kids, cooking, cleaning, practices, more practices, and everything else is nothing short of a circus act. Two of my new favorite people — Jess Connolly and Hayley Morgan — get it too. The authors of Wild and Free have touched so many lives. It spoke the free-spirited truth we all preach from within. Ultimately, we must give ourselves enough grace to not achieve all the things yet, possess the determination to keep going.
