The Basement Firefighting course aims to provide BA and FBT Instructors with an overview of the tactics and procedures used when fighting fires in basements. This 2 week course provides learners with the basic underpinning knowledge, skills and understanding required by a firefighter to perform safely and effectively whilst wearing BA at operational incidents. This course provides learners with the necessary skills, knowledge and understanding required to lead an industrial fire team in an emergency fire or rescue situation.
